Don and Carol Smith have spent a lifetime in Caro first as Building Contractors with Smith Builders and later as Real Estate Brokers with Donald Smith Real Estate They opened Timberline Lodge in 1988. Their thoughts are...

"We built this home and raised our family here. We have since expanded our facilities and love having the opportunity to provide a place for seniors to live comfortably in a home setting in the woods. Our residents love seeing the deer and other wildlife and enjoy the out-of-doors on the large shaded deck that provides a view of the beautiful flower gardens.

We first established Timberline Lodge when our niece, Jean Graham was interested in a place where she could care for seniors. Under Jean's administration, assisted by her daughter Sharon, the business thrived. Carol's one hesitation was that she didn't want her home to smell bad. She says that for these past 25 years she has never been disappointed--"It always smells clean and pleasant."  Residents can rest in the comfort of a clean home.
